Over the last several years, in addition to private events we have been fortunate enough to play in some of San Francisco’s finest Jazz and Swing venues including Yoshi’s, Savannah Jazz, Le Colonial, Fifty Mason Social House, The Berkeley City Club, and even Union Square! 2017

  • Fri. Jan 13th – The Rhythm Roustabouts long awaited ** ALBUM RELEASE ** party at The Dancer’s Den in Oakland which takes place at The Oakland Asian Cultural Center (388 9th St #290, Oakland, California 94607). There are lessons and dancing 7p-11:30p. As always, check their website for details.

2016

  • Sun. June 26th – The Rhythm Roustabouts  return to visit our friends down in Santa Cruz to play The Swing Set Lounge at The Pacific Arts Complex (1122 Soquel Ave, Santa Cruz, CA). There are lessons and dancing 8p-10p. As always, check their website for details.
  • Wed. Sept. 14th – The Rhythm Roustabouts  return to Cat’s Corner in the mission at Balancoire Night Club (2565 Mission Street San Francisco, CA 94110). Band plays @ 9:30pm. See their website for full details.
  • Fri. March 3rd – The Rhythm Roustabouts  return to visit our friends up in Sacramento to play Midtown Stomp at The Starlight Ballroom (2534 Industrial Blvd #150, West Sacramento, CA 95691). There are lessons and dancing 8p-Midnight. Check their website for details.
  • Wed. April 6th – The Rhythm Roustabouts  return to Cat’s Corner in the mission at Balancoire Night Club (2565 Mission Street San Francisco, CA 94110). Band plays @ 9:30pm. See their website for full details.

2015

  • Fri. Oct.16th– The Rhythm Roustabouts are getting the party started at the first ever CaLX – UC Berkeley’s Lindy Exchange. See their event page for details or you can go ahead and register for the whole weekend at the official CalX Website.
  • Sat. Oct. 17th– The Rhythm Roustabouts are really happy to be playing for the country’s longest running swing-dance weekend, Camp Swing!  Always a beautiful weekend in the redwoods, we’ll be playing on Sat. night to bring the RAGIN’ to Medocino.   • Sat. Sept. 26th– The Rhythm Roustabouts are playing a FREE OUTDOOR SHOW in SF from 12-1 at Jane Warner Plaza as a part of the Castro/Upper Market Community Benefit District’s Live! In The Castro series… Jane Warner Plaza is at the junction of Castro & Market – see this map link.
  • Sun. Sept. 27th– The Rhythm Roustabouts are really happy to be going down to play our first show in Santa Cruz at The Swing Set Lounge! Lesson from 7-8pm and the band plays 8-10pm.  1122 Soquel Ave, Santa Cruz, CA. See their website or their facebook group for the deets.
  • Wed. Aug 5th– The Rhythm Roustabouts hope to see out south-bay friends as we play the long-running Wednesday Night Hop at the Cheryl Burke Dance studio in Mountain View. Band plays @ 9:30pm. See their website for full details.

  • Wed. Jul 25th– The RichJazz Trio  are taking the party up to  PORTLAND as a part of the NorthWest New Deal Weekend!   • Thurs. April 17th– The Rhythm  Roustabouts are happy to be playing for the first time at Berkeley’s legendary Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center. Doors are at 8, Dance Lessons @ 8:15, and the band hits at 9:15p. $13.
  • Wed. April 2nd– The Rhythm  Roustabouts are happy to be playing for their first time at the NEW VENUE of our friend Nathan’s weekly Cat’s Corner dance. NOW being held weekly at Balancoire Restaurant Night Club – 2565 Mission Street San Francisco, CA 94110. (Mission & 22nd, just four block from their old venue). Classes 7-9:30p.   • Tues. March 18th – It is with a heavy heart that The Rhythm  Roustabouts are playing the final gathering of The Dancer’s Den at the Berkeley City Club. 2315 Durant Ave Berkeley CA, 94704 Dance 8p-10:45pm. Beautiful space. Dress pretty and take pictures. We thank Jean & Bromley for having us play so often and look forward to performing again in their next space <wink wink, nudge nudge>. It isn’t farewell, it’s just “Goodbye For Now”!
